FRANK HORVAT		Born in Italy in 1928, Frank Horvat is one of the World's leading photographers. His work was first published in 1951 in the same year that he first visited Paris and met Robert Capa and Henri Cartier Bresson. His early work featured in the legendary Picture Post as well as Paris Match and LIFE. After living in London for two years he moved to Paris in 1956 and in the following year began his first work in fashion, very quickly establishing himself as a regular contributor to Vogue and Elle. Alongside his fashion work Horvat has continued to work in other areas of photography. His work has been widely exhibited and he has published several books.

			1999 A Daily Report Frank Horvat Every single day throughout 1999 Frank Horvat photographed – working on this daily report of everyday life, his personal diary of the last year of the century. The challenge was to produce each day at least one image of substance. But beyond this, as a committed European, he also wished to include images from all fifteen countries of the European Union.
